Justin's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
My name is Justin Spera and I am a 10th grader in Mineola High School. I have had the privilege of being selected as a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. This is a 7-week leadership fundraising program that runs from February 1 through March 21, 2024. I have been involved with LLS for many years and have helped raise thousands of dollars in honor and in memory of my cousin, Thomas, who lost his battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2015. Although I was very young when he passed, the many loving and fond memories we shared left a tremendous and long-lasting impact on me. This loss has ignited me to become a driven and passionate fundraiser. In homage to Thomas, my team's name is Changing TOMorrows.
I have set an aggressive fundraising goal of $25,000! The money raised will fund cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. I believe, that with your help, we can start making the impossible possible...to live in a better world - one without blood cancers. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and share it with friends who would also like to donate!
Thank you for your support!
